BURST

[Coming soon to the Bay Area! Please check back again later.]

Watch more video from “BURST” here.

Based on deJong’s personal experience of Bipolar 2, corporate life, and tragic familial loss, “BURST” is a devastatingly honest, no-holds-barred exploration meds, madness, modern life, and Generation “Me.”

Directed by Tanya Taylor Rubinstein, “BURST” is set against the backdrop of our distracted, multi-tasking, med-happy, pill-popping, instant-gratification culture — with skyrocketing diagnoses of depression, ADD, bipolar and other “mental illnesses.” “BURST” unabashedly examines how we define what’s “crazy” and what’s “sane,” what’s “real” and what’s “illusion,” and what effect these definitions have on the contemporary mind, psyche, and soul.
